Jill Lester first landed in Colorado in 1974 as a student and she has lived, worked and gone to school in Boulder, Colorado since 1976 when she attended the University of Colorado Law School. She helped support herself by working in construction and later was motivated to become a real estate developer by her real estate and tax law professor (a genius in the condominium and cooperative movement in California in the late 1970’s) at the University of Denver. Jill became deeply involved in building and designing her first home in Winter Park, Colorado and was a licensed general contractor in Boulder County for many years. She loves residential construction and is known for her attention to detail in designing and building homes.

Jill is often sought out for her thoughtful advice on real estate, education, technology, and construction. When Jill is not busy sharing photos and stories of her young grandson Marshall, she volunteers her time and expertise as a member of the city of Boulder Board of Zoning Adjustment and helping to teach computer classes at the Dawson School. Jill enjoys hiking Boulder’s Open Space trails and swimming at the YMCA Sanitas Warm Water Pool. She is an avid fan of the internet as she loves having the answers at her fingertips whenever possible.
